Your county's records office is the official source for recorded property boundaries, and a licensed surveyor is the one who can mark them on the ground. LotSite is neither: it shows you satellite imagery of your Atlanta property so you can trace and measure what you can see.

The Atlanta city limits reach into 2 counties: DeKalb County and Fulton County. Each county keeps its own assessor records and its own recording office, so the first thing to settle is which county an address is in. The records card above links Fulton County; an address in DeKalb County is searched through that county's offices instead.

In Georgia, deeds and subdivision plats are recorded by the clerk of superior court. For Fulton County, that office is the Fulton County Clerk of Superior and Magistrate Courts, Recording Division. Georgia publishes no statewide map of recorded parcels that LotSite could find on state sites, so the records kept by Fulton County are the place to look.
