Nearly every quote you'll ever get for outdoor work starts with one number. Landscapers price by the square foot. Fence installers work from your perimeter. 2. Check your county assessor's website. The recorded lot size — most accurate public source, but every county portal is different, and finding the parcel record can take a half hour.
